love Delta style and acoustic "unplugged" Blues! Unfortunately
I don't get much chance to play it because I am usually out there
in the trenches doing Urban Blues with an electric band.
Therefore I was very glad to be able to record this collection of original
songs in that style. I hope that you enjoy my gift to you.

These songs were recorded
during two different sessions and under very different conditions.CD
number one was recorded in very primitive conditions, basically in a
hovel in Austin Texas in February of 1995. In case there's
any gearheads interested, I used a 1962 Fender Stratocaster, a 1949 Gibson
acoustic and a 1929 National Triolian and I played the Strat through
a 1964 Fender Princeton.
CD number two was recorded in better conditions in Los Angeles
on April 15th 1997. I used a 1946 D'Angelico Excel recorded acoustically
and the 1929 National Triolian.
Watch out for number three! It's stirring around in my brain right now...

me with the printing, Bobby Owsinski for his good advice, technical expertise
and help with the recording and Michael Weinstein for the photography.
